When i was his age......

First time participating in a point & shoot with Fat Mum Slim!

Here is a photo of my dad trying to teach my 9year old son how to cut wood

He looks so thrilled to be out there, the Axe is almost bigger then him.
 He tried to tell (pop)
"i dont need to be able to chop wood, when i have electricity, i just have to press a button"
Let's just say, That didn't go down so well!
we were out there for quite some time after that comment! lol
So, How was your weekend?

Cute photos! Was the wood for a fire? Because all the electricity in the world can't top a good fire! Marshmallows are essential!

thanks for your comment, yes it was for a wood fire, and your right, you just cant beat a good wood fire, in our (rented) house we only have reverse cycle air conditioners, so my kiddos aren't use to the whole chopping of wood thing lol

Nothing like a bit of hard work :) He looks like an old hand already, better than me anyway, I'm terrible at cutting wood!

In those clothes, your son looks like a mix between Little Red Riding Hood and the Woodchopper!

What a great experience for your son, even if he has electricity and a button to push and all.

Oh I can imagine! Sorry kid, you always need to know how to chop wood. I'm not looking forward to teaching my kids that however!
