Happy Fathers Day Dad!

We had a pretty early start to the day.
The kids were really excited about giving dad his fathers day presents. (you know the one's, from the schools fathers day stall)
He also got a BBQ and a shower pack.
So no sleeping in for dad this year.
Maybe next year dad, maybe!

We spend most of the morning outside in the yard, then headed down to the park for a picnic lunch.
Should of stayed home, everyone seemed to have had the same idea at the same time. The parks were over flowing with families.
Must admit though it was the perfect weather for it.

Must remember to start taking this

if i don't want to be doing this the whole time.

Hello Hay fever Spring!

My dad lives to far away so i didn't get to see him today but i did call him.

My dad and i, i'm guessing about 27 years ago.

Aww, beautiful. Not the hay fever bit! That's never much fun. I've started suffering it already! Urrgghh!
So glad Dad had a fab day! And school stall presents are just the best, aren't they? Hehe! xx

It seems to me that it was a perfect day for daddy , we did almost the same , but without the special present , because our Nicole is 1 year old :) , maybe next year she will make something special!

Naw, lovely post! Spend the first half of the day mourning the lack of a true relationship with my dad, and the second half of the day being grateful for my step-dad's presence in our lives!

We had a pretty usual Sunday - swimming lessons with the toddler, lunch at the local shopping centre, and time at home for dad to have a nap. He's a pretty easy-going guy to I think he really appreciated the nap part of the day!
