Ohhh, this reminds me of growing up. We used to catch yabbies in the river when we went camping. It was so much fun and they are delicious! Thanks for reviving a lovely memory for me :)
My husband is sooo jealous. His brother bought him a yabby trap for Christmas (apparently its the ultimate gift - who knew??), and he has been trying to catch them in the dams since then. So far no luck though!

Fresh water crayfish right? That's what we called them in NZ anyway. I love anything like yabbies, prawns, crayfish - yum!

We have yabbies in the dam , just reminded me to get hubby to take the kids yabbying.
