To be totally honest this is something i have never heard of before and something that wouldn't normally catch my eye in the supermarket.
I'm very happy that i had a couple of packets sent out for me to try, or i may not have ever tried this product. (My dad, who doesn't like pasta, Loves the taste of this stuff and so do my very fussy eating kids)
Since receiving the Slim Pasta package, we have used every pack we were sent and even bought more. This stuff is delicious!
here is one of the recipes we used the Slimpasta in.

"Nobody likes to diet. Cutting out carb-filled foods such as bread and pasta can be a real challenge, and the primary reason that so many diets fail. Thankfully, SlimPasta has a solution. SlimPasta is a fantastic substitute to regular pasta and noodles for people who are trying to lose weight or simply for those who are working to maintain a healthy weight.
Made from a high fibre Asian vegetable called Konjac, SlimPasta
contains 94% less calories than white wheat pasta. In fact, in a generous 100 gram
serve of the Angel Hair variety there is a measly 6.4 calories, and in a serve
of Spaghetti there is only 14.1 calories. In other words, less than one minute
on the treadmill!
SlimPasta is available in both Spaghetti and Angel Hair and can be
combined with a large variety of sauces and foods to create truly delicious
dishes. It does have a slightly different taste and texture to regular pasta.
However, like pasta, it’s designed to mix with a variety of sauces and
dressings to create a tasty, low-calorie dish and mixed with your favourite
Bolognese sauce, you’ll be hard-pressed to see the difference (except on your
waist-line, that is.)
Both products are dairy, egg and fat-free and the Angel Hair variety
is 100% gluten-free, ensuring that it is a perfect pasta substitute for Coeliacs
and those with gluten intolerances.
It is pre-cooked so incredibly easy to prepare. Simply drain away
fluid, rinse, leave in hot water for 1 minute and drain. Although SlimPasta is
light in texture, it expands in your stomach, leaving you feeling fuller for
longer – a great way to avoid after-dinner snacks, fat-filled treats and
afternoon binges."
SlimPasta is
available in Woolworths in the health & organic section and selected IGA
and health-food stores.
RRP $3.69
for a 250g pack (2 servings of 125g)

Hi Jane, these sound fantastic. My husband it gluten intolerant but I love pasta. This would be a great option. Definitely putting them in my basket next shopping trip. Mmm, I am hungry now. :)
