I learnt WHAT at the Bloggers Brunch

A lot, that's WHAT!
My experience went as follows;

I learnt that i should know what to say before approaching a Brands stand.
I had a little awkward moment when i was asked Who am i? what am i about?
I was not prepared for the question, my mind went blank and i had nothing to say.
Embarrassed slightly!

I also learnt that my Dodgy business cards were not so bad after all. Yes i did take them and yes i did pass out a few, not many, but a few.

I learnt alot about the Charity - Stars with heart
Stars with Heart aim is to provide financial support to all cancer patients to make it possible for them to be able to afford their best treatment options and to lessen the impact of a cancer diagnosis on their family and loved ones. Stars with Heart’s first initiative to reduce financial stress is to make it possible for all cancer patients to be able to access a financial counsellor to ensure that no matter what their present financial situation is that it is made as manageable as possible and no areas of financial assistance have been or are over looked. With the support of the bloggers attending, the Bloggers Brunch will raise funds to support families affected by cancer.

I spoke to quite a few lovely ladies and i learnt that i am not the only one who felt so nervous on my first meet up. I did already know this, but it helped settle my nerves just that little bit more actually hearing it in person from someone who once felt the same way.

I got a little goodies bag for just turning up, it even came with candy | I met the lady behind the scene - Christie Nicholas | I got to listen to 3 lovely ladies speak, all 3 were very Inspiring "Gratitude" Speakers | My very own name tag | I got to meet all the awesome Brands, such as; Spotlight, Brown sugar, Dyson, Philly, Rust-oleum, Bevilles, Kambrook, (#KambrookAU has also helped me master the Cake pops) Nads, Nitwits.. Loved them all. I Received a bunch of pretty amazing products to try out.

One of the most important things i learnt was, Dress Code - There is NO DRESS CODE. I would advise you to wear anything that is comfortable, you don't have to dress like a business women, you are a Mum and so is everybody else there. I turned upto the Brunch in a nice colourful dress. I walked over to wear everybody was, ordered a coffee... I felt so out of place, i was feeling even more nervous then usual because i was wearing something i wouldn't normally wear. So then i headed back to my car to change in to jeans and a shirt. When i returned to where everybody else was I felt so much more comfortable, the nervous just faded away, and conversations started flowing.

Ohh i nearly forgot, One more important thing i learnt on the day, was that there is no time to be a 'Nigel no friends', everyone was so friendly and chatty, even if you did manage to get a quite minute to your self it wasn't long before someone was sitting next to starting a new conversation.

Overall i had a very positive experience. I learnt alot, friendships were made, The Brands i met were amazing and very informative.

I am looking forward to another meet up.

Don't forget about the Popcorn maker Giveaway i have going on over there in my sidebar.
