Playing along with Michelle and Naomi, you ladies are Awesome to have put this motivational challenge together!
Week #2,
Another good week, with a loss of 1kg.. Yay me!
I didn't get a lot of 'me time' in but i did teach my kiddies to ride there bikes without training wheels,
which involved a lot of running up and down the street and lots of stacks/bandaids.
We also spent alot of time doing yard work this week.
I think i done great with the food choices i made this week,
I even stayed away from the 'yummy' Oreo McFlurrys from McDonald's,
and even better with the Alcohol choices,
i stopped having the glass or 2 - 3 with dinner.
A little something that gives me motivation,
i wanted to share..
Your right. It is easier to eat pizza then to run on the treadmill.
It is easier to turn to ice cream, rather then people for support.
It is easier to say "Stuff it, i give up" then to say "stuff this i can do it."
So you know what? I'm not going to sit here and tell you day after day you can do this.
If you don't believe you can, then you can't.
THATS THE HONEST TRUTH
You need to do this for you, and if you don't want it enough,
Then you sure as hell won't achieve it.
So take the easy way out and remain unhealthy and continue to gain weight because you can't Realize you are the only one hurting your self.
I didn't say it would be easy. I said it would be
Worth it!
People always remember...
You will always be more important then the number on your scales

@Farmers wifey Thank you and Naomi for starting this wonderful challenge!
Look at you go! And thanks for the motivation- I WILL be up at 5.30am in the morning, and I hope I have a weight loss to tell you about this Saturday!
Serious YAY! for you with the 1kg score - so excellent! I so love your motivational quote and am going to print that out and put it above my treadmill - I want to be a believer that I can. Thanks so much. Naomi xx
Hi Jane,
I love your focus on believing in yourself, investing in yourself, and reaching our for support--all too often overlooked as essential ingredients for managing weight.
But one small suggestion, if I may. Eating pizza and exercising on the treadmill are not mutually exclusive (though I don't recommend you do them simultaneously!). You can eat foods that you enjoy, that give you pleasure, and have an appropriate balance of physical activity. And yes, for all you stay-at-home-moms out there, even chasing toddlers and pushing strollers counts as exercise!
But I agree, that "turning to ice cream", ie, to manage emotions, is not the answer for weight management. But eating ice cream, mindfully, absolutely does support weight control!
