"The popularity of Junior Masterchef
has inspired kids to get creative in the kitchen!"
Today i let Miss 7 experiment with Cooking on her own.
She cooked a 'Cake in a Mug'
we sifted a little icing sugar on top
Simple enough and tasted great!!
The recipe says u can serve it with a scoop of ice cream, but i think it would have been perfect served with a little whipped cream.
"If you want to cook with your toddler, you need to view it like a craft activity - don't be in a hurry and don't expect to want to eat anything you cook! Spending time with your toddler in the kitchen takes time and patience, but it's worth investing both to have a lovely experience together that will build confidence in the kitchen.
