If not, then you really should!
There are some exciting new things going on down there (new attraction and exhibit) ready for the school holidays in September that you are not going to want to miss.
Over the weekend my family and i went on a little adventure to Sydney.
Country drivers kicking it Sydney style,
was not to much fun!
In the first few hours of being there we couldn't find any parking, got lost and ended up driving around in circles, we went the wrong way in a one way street, also drove in a bus only lane and whats the go with Sydney taxi drivers? We had 3 in the first few hours of being in the city almost hit us. Crazy Drivers!
It was so foggy on Saturday!
Anyways, once we finally found parking and made it safely to the Aquarium it was all worth while.
It was my kiddies very first visit there and they had a blast.
My little guy was really not in the mood to be in photos at all on Saturday.
We spent a good few hours at the aquarium, there was just so much to do and see.
We made some souvenir penny's, posed for photos, posed for more photos with all the awesome Lego statues and of course shopped.
Having watched 'Finding Nemo' a few days before we went, guess what we spent alot of our time doing. We found a few 'Dori's', we didn't actually find 'Nemo' but i'm sure his there somewhere untill we got to the souvenir shop at the end, where there was a big picture of Nemo and Dori on the wall along with a few Nemo and Dori toys.
We spent alot of time at this tank looking for Nemo.
Have you been to the Aquarium?
What was your favourite thing to see or do there?
My favourite thing was walking through the tunnels having all the sea animals swimming over top of me.

looks like an awesome time! we've never been to an aquarium with our kids (adelaide doesn't have one) but it is definitely on the to do list! have a great week. Tatum xx
I haven't been to the Sydney Aquarium, but it looks AMAZING! I'm over in WA, in Margaret River, so it is a bit far to travel, but next time we are in the city, I will take my boys to AQWA.
Have a great week!

I think Sydney Aquarium is my fave. We used to go all the time when we lived there. Now we go quite a lot to Melbourne, but it isn't quite up to Sydney's standard. I remember going once when my second baby had just started to walk, and we have a great (but reasonably poor quality) video of him walking across the glass, and it is gorgeous, because he doesn't realise it is solid, he is scared he is going to fall in. Priceless.
I cant wait to take my kids to the aquarium!!! We havent been since before the kids were born! Looks like you had a great time!!
Thank you for your comments! :)
We had a fantastic time and would defiantly go again. It was my litter 2 childrens first time there, they loved it.
Mr 10 went with his school last year and he was also excited to be going again.
Looks like so much fun!!
We've never been to the Melbourne aquarium as it is horrendously expensive for a larger family :( But I'd love to one day when we are rich lol!
Everything looks so wonderful. Australia is definitely on my bucket list of places to visit!
Made your own souvener pennies! My boys wouod love that! I must check out lightbox, too!
@Kate - I know what you mean about being rich, it makes it hard when you have a large family.
@kelly - Australia is wonderful, i'm sure you would have a fantastic time here.
@Sif - The penny making was pretty cool. Lightbox is defiantly worth checking out. It was to dark in there to use my camera without the flash, but because of all the glass, the flash was wrecking my photos. Had my photos actually saved, i would have got some awesome shots.
I wish we could take our kids there! My little man is obsessed by fish (he is watching Finding Nemo right now).
Looks like you guys had a great day. Will have to check out that app; I am the phone photo queen!
Thanks for linking up!
Looks like awesome fun.
WE won a ticket to go recently -but haven't been and now I want to go NOW.
What an awesome thing to do with the kids!!! I remember quite vividly going to the Aquarium with my grandparents one holidays, and going in that tunnel where the water went right over me! It was awesome and freaky and really really cool all at the same time! I couldn't believe I was UNDER THE SEA!
@Trish - Go! It's awesome and your little guys will love it.
@Daisy,Roo and Two - Being 'Under the sea' was my favourite thing to. :)
We have an aquarium near us and every other year we purchase yearly passes for the family....great value in our eyes.
I LOVE the photos. They're brilliant. This is bringing back so many memories of taking our girls to the Melbourne Aquarium earlier this year. They were just as excited! Can't wait 'til we can get to the Sydney in January!
We live so close it'd be a travesty if we didn't take the walk there. So after waiting till Miss T was old enough and interested (2) we went. She had fun but was s bit little to last the full distance. When she's a little older, we might buy a yearly pass so we can come and go as we please. It's is a great place. Your photos are really clear. Yu got me all excited about Lightbox till I realised it was not on the iPhone. Lol!
