I haven't left you... Promise!

How is everyone?
It's been awhile... I bet you all thought i up and left you!

With extremely slow internet and a sudden change of lifestyle i almost did.

So... I thought i would give you a little update on "Life in the sticks" I have been living in the middle of whoop whoop Central West NSW for about 1 month now. We moved here from the Hunter Valley. (Huge change for us)
For anyone who doesn't already know, My partner and i plan on buying our first Home next year, but, in order to do so we needed a huge change in lifestyle.

My kids and i are living with my parents. Hubby now has to work away. we only see him on weekends
The kids have started a new school which at the moment they seem to really enjoy. They have to travel just over 1 hour on 2 buses to get to school which they are also enjoying 'at the moment'.
My little guy has just started pre school, and i am about to start back at tafe. So it seems we are settling in nicely.

The closest town to us is 45kms away, the closest town with 'shopping' shops (Target, big w, etc) is roughly 90kms away. I am hating all the driving that needs to be done to get anywhere, but at the same time i am loving the change in my kids.
They seem to be playing together more, their not as interested in there gaming consoles or the T.V. They have been doing more outdoor activities

I'm getting pretty good at doing the disappearing act so please forgive me, i promise im not leaving you.

How many Bloggers are living in Central west NSW, I would love a 'meet up'!
The town we live in is roughly the same distance from the following towns: Forbes, Cowra,  young and all the little towns inbetween  ;)

Glad it has been a positive change - apart from clocking up the kms.

Hi Jane,
New to your blog.
Looking forward to reading about your tree change!
We live on the central west plains, about 30km from our nearest town, but only 5km from the nearest pub!

Wow, Jane. Big changes for you! I hope it's all going well. I think a bit of country air and solitude would be awesome right about now!! x
