My kiddies have grown up with books, i have been buying books since my monkeys were newborns.
All 3 of my kids, plus my nieces and nephews love my book shelf. I can often find the kids curled up somewhere quietly with a book.
Lucky for us, we received a box of fun, 'kids' books in the post.
Mr 11 has been taking this book - 365 Science Experiments - to school once a week, for science, since he got it.

This book is great for kids aged between 4 and 12 years.
Here are a few experiments for you to try!
There are 6 different topics:
Astronomy - The scientific study of celestial bodies.
Biology - The study of living organisms; the plants and animals of a particular area.
Chemistry - The study of the elements, the compounds they form and the reactions they undergo.
Geology/Geography - Study of the earth and the earth's physical features.
Physics - The science dealing with the properties of matter and energy.
Weather - The state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind and rain
The good thing about this book is, it is written by Glen Singleton who has been illustrating for over 20 years. He is a favourite, with kids for his cartoons and children's book illustrations.
