Walking home from our school fate.. .. Mr 4 kept running ahead. After explaining about the magpies he continued to ignore me and run ahead.
That was until he had unknowingly started participating in a Mexican stand off with a magpie.
As soon as Mr 4 looked away the magpie swooped in then started attacking at my his face, luckily it didn't actually peck him.
All my little guy could do was scream and wave his arms around, my poor little guy was so scared.
Other then being scared he was fine.
When his 'Dad' got home Mr 4 went on to tell him about how the 'eagle' tried to eat him.
What do you do during Swooping season, how do you protect your self?

Poor little guy. I'm sure it looked as big as an eagle when it was that close up!
The eagle has landed! Would have felt like an eagle to a little man for sure!
We used to walk to school with an ice-cream container on our head... Hmmmm...
