Where there are cousins, there is:
Love, Fights, Play, Sharing or not, defiantly a lot of craziness.
Family photos are never easy!
'Planned' family photos just don't happen in our family.
Or they get slightly carried away with there over sized smiles. They never look at the camera at the same time
Almost got one or two ... ...
O.k time to give up this is the best we are going to get today!
We're from the same seed.
We're from the same seed
but grew up separately
my cousin, my friend
we're from the same tree
some things in common
that we share one-to-one
but other things are different
and definitely homespun
all that I can say is
i'm glad you're a part of me
and that the seed that was planted
is now our family tree

Playing along with Jess over @ Diary of a SAHM.I would love to hear any tips you might have on how to take a family photo the easy way.
Is there an easy way?

That last shot is GOLD! I struggle just to get Skye to look at the camera let alone multiple children. What a great bunch of pics though :)
Awwww!!! So adorable. Your kids are super duper cute.

They're all great shots!
Real shots.
I love cousin 'love' too.
My little boy has three boy cousins, so it's on for young and old when we have them here!!
No tips, I'm afraid.
The best shot I've got of the four still shows one little man being nearly strangled by another!
I know the pros use a funny/furry toy that pops out from behind the camera at the opportune moment - but I'm too unco to attempt that!
:-)
Great photos! Real photos that aren't staged are always so nice. My little girl is still at the 'ooh-camera' stage so it is hard to even get her smiling (probably doesn't help that our camera is broken either!)
What you've captured is who they are! Can't ask for better than that in my opinion. Candid is best ;)
My lot are exactly the same as yours! I would love an 'unstaged staged' photo rather than many, many 'unstaged with eyes closed, mouth crazy, hair in face' sort of shots... x
A camera with a super quick shutter speed that takes 5 shots in under 5 secs and hope that one of them comes out ok, that is the only way I manage to get a nice photo of kidlets. The ones you have shared all look great though, the kind that make you smile
Nope, no tips at all. I love your description of cousins getting together, Love, fights, play, sharing or not... craziness. That describes my family to a tee!
haha, they remind me of every single photo I have of my lot!
Last Christmas my Mil organized a big family photo shoot with the grandparents, my bil and sil, and seven grandkids. Trying to get that many people (including a 5 and a sick 9month old) smiling at the same time, was just impossible! There were some good shots, but they were the 'natural' ones, not the posed ones.
What I love about digital cameras is you can take so many oils hoping for a good one, and then you keep them all anyway because you get so much more than smiles; you get character.
It is a difficult task to take family photos. Actually to think of it I can't remember taking one properly at all. Thanks for following me. I am following you back. Also love the small poem.

I think they're great photos. I just tried yesterday to get a photo of all 3 (because everyones been freaking me out about christmas) for cards. Oh we got some dooseys. Including a teddy bear being thrown hehe. Family photos are hard!
Ou, the kids are so cute, and planned photos are for old people! I mean there is so much happiness and smiles in these ones!
There is no easy way. Uh-uh. None. My brother has four kids and I have three, all ranging in age from 1-7. We have ONE photo of them all together, and they are all looking somewhere different.
That last picture is classic!
I've accepted we have to take what we can get. I do love pics of my daughter and her cousins. We seldom see them as we live interstate so every shot is gold! I especially love a that poem. Beautiful!
