Our towns Local Dance School
went in to lock down
because of some creepy dude hanging around outside!
At first he was just standing back watching through the blinds,
Once we had worked out what it was he was doing.
He was questioned and asked to move on.
He moved on alright,
The dance teachers closed the blinds,
preying this dirty bastard would piss off he would get bored and leave.
Eventually he left well so we thought.
It wasn't untill one of the girls had finished her dance lesson
and went out side to meet her mum.
This guy told her "I know where your mum is, come with me and i'll show you"
It was lucky that the little girls mum had just parked the car
and was walking across the road!
The girl screamed and ran to her mother,
the guy ran off.
The police were called but there was nothing they could do!
WTF??
I live in a fairly small rural area, shit like this isn't supposed to happen here!

that is horrible :( I hate that there are people out there like that that can do things like that and get away with it!
Unfortunately this sort of thing happens everywhere. The best we can do is not only teach kids (girls AND boys) stranger danger but also protective behaviours.
Oh that just makes me feel sick. Being mummy to three girls!! And the police couldn't do anything??? Not even warn him off??? Grrrrrrr
It's disgusting, but like Alicia said, we have to make sure our kids know all about stranger danger!
That makes me so angry! That the police can do nothing.
I stumbled across several Facebook pages last week, made with cartoon character names, they had photo's of children, celebrities, or in one case was a policeman... none of these were real accounts. They were fake, made by a sex offender adding young children, and when that failed, adding people who had photo's with young children in them, as their profile photo.
When I made the discovery and contacted the police, there was nothing they could do, although the sex offender in question had links to his own page via these pages and was using his own email addresses to make them... BUT, they could take action on one account, and that was because he impersonated a police officer. Uh what?
They can't protect children but protect themselves and their own reputation? It frustrated me how little they can do in regards to perverts/paedophiles! DISGUSTING!
And they wonder why there are so many vigilante parents!
That is freaky! Just makes you want to keep your kids home where you know where they are at all times. The best you can do is make them aware. Thanks for sharing and reminding us that this goes on closer than you think!
That makes me sick to my stomach, not only because I was abused as a child but because I now have kids of my own.
I want them to grow up and be independent and feel safe doing things on their own/with a group of friends but shit like this just makes it impossible.
Just between us, I hope someone followed him home ... if you know what I mean!
That is absolutely terrifying. What if the men of the little dancers hung out outside of the studio and wait for the perv....
These people are sick. I was printing some stuff out at the internet kiosk at our local shopping centre the other day, went to pick it up and picked up a print up close up of a vagina instead. The man beside me had a pile full of them, quickly left, I followed him to keep an eye on him - no security anywhere of course. Finally found security, but he got away while I was talking to them. They were going to go through CTV footage and find him, but I just felt dirty afterwards. Kids use those cafes.
Sick bastards.
Scary stuff. I know a few police officers and they are just as frustrated as the rest of us at how little power they have in these situations.
