No more needles mumma?

Yesterday was spent mostly at the hospital.

Mr 4 had to get some more blood tests.
After 3 attempts at trying to collect his bloody and what felt like one million tears later, it was all over,
at least for another 3 months.

 Before the needles

The 'dots' that caused most of the tears.

 Not a happy little man.

He was only just starting to get use to the needles (blood tests) now we are back where we started.
It only took one bad experience to put the fear of needles back in this little guy.

Playing along here and here!

I hope your little guy is okay. Ivy will be back there again on Monday for cannulation. She always hated all of the blood sticks. Always. Brave little man.

I can't even imagine what you and the little brave man went through. It must have been horrible for you. :(

Oh that is so not fair!
Do they have the option of using the gel stuff? My girls had that for their blood tests when they were around 4 and it help a lot. But you are right, a good nurse who gets it first time makes the whole thing so much easier!

Bless his cotton socks. Needles and small people just should't mix - it doesn't seem fair. Hope he is ok.

Oh, poor little man. So sorry to hear that. It always makes my heart break.
A good nurse is worth their weight in gold when it comes to these things. xx

It's so tough to see them go through this sort of thing. You wish you could stop it for them.

Big hugs to your little man and to you, for being such a brave mumma. Xxx

He must have gotten the same person i had do my last lot there, took them 4 goes to find the vein and then despite me explaining several times that i was allergic to all of their tapes she put a heap of tape on at the end. Normally they are really good up there though!

Hope he is doing much better and deals with the next round he has easier.

Poor little darling! As a sick littlun I remember being held down for a blood test and kicking the needle out of the nurses hand! xxx

Poor little man. I'm dreading Olive's 4 yo immunisation next month - but that's nothing compared to your son.
