Things i know ... ...

Playing along with Shae over @ Yay For Home!

I know that we were one of the families who got to try out 'Nicely Nutty Muesli' by Table of plenty.

 I also now know that,
"In response to customer demand for a muesli with no fruit, Australian healthy food brand, Table of Plenty has added Nicely Nutty fruit free mini clusters to their impressive portfolio. Perfect for those of us who can’t eat or don’t like dried fruit, Nicely Nutty is a delicious blend of whole rolled oats with almonds, cashews and seeds, oven baked with Table of Plenty’s signature vanilla recipe.

Totally natural and with no preservatives, this muesli is a high fibre breakfast or snacking option that unlike some other muesli brands on the market, lives up to its healthy reputation. In addition, Nicely Nutty is fructose friendly, wheat free and dairy free.

Nicely Nutty Muesli Features:
  • In keeping with Table of Plenty’s philosophy, Nicely Nutty is delicious AND nutritious!
  • Totally natural and with no preservatives
  • Fruit free
  • Fructose-friendly, wheat free and dairy free
  • High in fibre"

What my mini taste testers said,

 Mr 10 - "I think i'll just have Nutri-Grain thanks mum."
He said it didn't look very nice so there for he didn't want to taste it.

Miss 7 - "I will try it, it looks and sounds yummy." After having a few mouthfuls, she decided it wasn't for her.
She said "it tastes yummy but it is to crunchy, with to many nuts".
I think if it didn't have the nuts she would have loved it. (She liked it dry)

Mr 4 and myself also tried it.
First we tried it dry and we both enjoyed it. It has a great flavour, it was really fresh. Something i think i could nibble on often.
We then added milk and berries. It was still 'ok', but got slightly chewy from the oats.

So all in all i don't think this is the 'cereal' for us, but its defiantly makes a yummy snack. I would buy this again to use as a 'dry' snack.

Table of Plenty Nicely Nutty Muesli is available in selected Coles stores in the cereal aisle. It retails for about $4.99 per box.

I don't think my kids would go for it either, they like their cereal with less chewing required of them :)) Like Jayne, I have a nut allergy.

It looks really yum though - a good healthy way to start the day.
