Day 3, 4, 5 & 6
This little 'Keep Gaming Devices Hidden' mission, seems to be working just fine.
Things i have noticed different about my kids in the first week.
Less fighting
Playing with each other and with there toys. Like normal kids do.
I actually hear them laughing and telling each other about how there day had been.
My house has become very loud, which is nice because it means they haven't disappeared to there rooms to play they 'games' but frustrating at the same time I Love me a nice quite house!
More T.V is being watched
They have been playing outside alot more, even in this freezing cold weather.
Mr 10 has been sick all week so it hasn't affected him so much just yet.
Miss 7 hasn't asked if she could play anything yet but she is counting down the days till they get them back
Mr 3 has asked everyday, but gets over it pretty quick once he sees that no one else is playing a 'games'.
8 more days to go!
I should have done this ages ago....

Amazing how technology invades our lives. My youngest who is not quite two loves to hijack her siblings DS even though she has no idea how to play it.
So nice they are spending more time together, i love hearing the little ones playing and the funny things they say to each other. Hope you had a nice weekend! xx
I am seriously considering hiding the playstation! The Wii I don't mind too much, because the boys only like playing Michael Jackson - The Experience!
So cute watching them do all the moves together.
It's been a while since I stopped by your lovely site..I have been a little quiet on blogger of late. But it's nice catching up with what everyone has been up to! :)
I live in one of these "loud" households ;-). Our almost 8 year old has a DS, but TV and video games are not allowed most of the school week. I never thought I'd be one of these moms ;-), but we experienced that it works a lot better without these gimmicks. I feel too that it's difficult to keep the balance between allowing "modern technologies" but also taking care that they don't become dominant in family life. Good nerves for the rest of this experiment ;-) - maks :-)
